The unexpected flight.

I created three magical paper birds to accompany one of his dresses for a window display at the Ritz Hotel in Paris, forming a visual narrative about a bird crossing the ocean in search of new horizons. The installation mirrors both Javier’s and my own journeys as Latin American artists building creative lives in Europe — a shared story of courage, transformation, and discovery. The delicate birds and the couture piece exist in harmony, evoking a dreamlike world where fashion and art become a symbol of travel, identity, and the poetic pursuit of opportunity.
