Architectures of Enchantment. This piece draws inspiration from Encanto, a film where architecture becomes the heart of the story and the house itself carries magic. The composition celebrates colour, abundance, and movement, surrounding the structure with flourishing blooms, animals, mountains, and towering palms that echo the richness of Colombian landscapes and the spirit of magical realism found in its literature and folklore.

Behind the house, layered frames suggest portals — symbolic doors that open into parallel worlds, inviting the viewer to imagine endless stories unfolding beyond the surface. Constructed from cardboard and painted in acrylic, the work combines dense ornamentation with sculptural layering. Medieval visual references inform its structure, while contemporary colour and texture bring the piece into the present, creating a vibrant architectural tableau where memory, fantasy, and place intertwine.
