Inspired by the story of an underwater princess, the composition centers on the palace where her world unfolds — a layered stage where architecture becomes narrative and atmosphere carries the magic of the tale. Built from sculpted mountboard and painted by hand in acrylic, the work is rich in gradients, textures, and delicate details that echo the rhythm of the sea. Medieval visual language informs the structure and ornamentation, yet the palette and material treatment bring the piece into the present, balancing history with contemporary colour and depth. Encased within its frame, the scene reads like a window into another realm: a quiet theatre of fantasy where craftsmanship, storytelling, and memory converge.
